The main research and development direction is microbial fertilizer and microbial pesticide, poly-γ-glutamic acid fermentation production and application, antibacterial peptide, antibiotic fermentation engineering and other major aspects of research and development work, around the bacillus biotechnology, the establishment of Bacillus licheniformis synthetic biology platform, metabolic engineering platform, protein high-efficiency expression platform, fermentation engineering platform, focus on the application of Bacillus in the fields of biopolymer materials, enzyme preparations, microecological preparations, microbial pharmaceuticals, food/feed additives, environmental protection, etc.; and further develop Bacillus licheniformis synthetic biology, metabolomics and metabolism Flux research, scientific research work has gradually deepened from industrial technology development and applied basic research to metabolic regulation mechanism, realizing the biological "intelligence" of microorganisms, and promoting the rapid development of the biotechnology industry.
